Graphics Supplies Product Engineer

Role Overview

The Graphics Supplies Product Engineer will coordinate and lead the efforts of both internal teams and external manufacturing partners to manage product lifecycle activities from introduction to phase-out on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and align efforts between development and manufacturing partners worldwide to support product manufacturing from inception through end of life.
• Analyze defective products and sub-assemblies through engineering methods, incorporating feedback from customers, manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance processes.
• Communicate findings and issues related to products and processes with stakeholders, collaborating on recommendations and changes to improve quality, reduce defects, and optimize costs.
• Serve as the product engineering representative across all phases of extensive and complex development and manufacturing projects.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in fields such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• Proficiency using engineering tools and software to test, design, and assess products and manufacturing workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with problem-solving capabilities, along with a good understanding of material properties and the design and manufacture of hardware and electronic components.
• Experience with empirical methods, modeling, and testing to validate product specifications and designs.
• Excellent communication skills, with mastery of English and local language for clear written and verbal interactions.
• Ability to effectively relay manufacturing strategies, proposals, and outcomes and to negotiate at management levels.
