Position Overview
We are seeking a Graphic Designer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to create moderately-complex graphic artworks and layouts while adhering to established brand and style standards. This role involves close cooperation with project teams and clients to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in visual materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce varied reproduction-quality graphics such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, diagrams, posters, signs, and certificates following company or client guidelines.
- Collaborate directly with Project Managers, Designers, Technical Writers/Editors, and content providers to review and refine artwork and textual components.
- Suggest enhancements to improve clarity, expression accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Edit and adjust existing artworks as necessary to meet project needs.
- Deliver assignments on schedule as part of a collaborative functional team.
- Prepare engaging presentations and graphic layouts.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- An associate degree or equivalent certification in Graphic Design or completion of an accredited graphic/design course.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
- Proven capability in visually communicating accurate information and project concepts through graphics and presentations.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite software — including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, AfterEffects — and Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest and some familiarity with engineering, environmental, construction, or architectural sectors.
- Strong communication skills combined with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to effectively graphically represent infrastructure concepts to convey purpose and intent.
