Graduate Design Verification Engineer

About the Role

Join AMD as a Graduate Design Verification Engineer working on cutting-edge DDR subsystem projects. Collaborate with verification specialists and designers to validate multiple DDR and LPDDR controllers, PHYs, clock IPs, and other components, using UVM and Formal proof methodologies. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the verification efforts for assigned designs, including authoring formal properties and assertions to validate functionality.
• Work closely with RTL engineers to optimize logic design, particularly improving clock gating, and verify comprehensive design aspects.
• Develop tests, sequences, and testbench elements using SystemVerilog, UVM, and Formal tools to ensure complete verification coverage.
• Monitor verification quality metrics such as pass rates, code coverage, and functional coverage to ensure thorough testing.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on project experience in design concepts and RTL implementation or verification gained during internships.
• Knowledge or exposure to Formal verification tools or functional verification environments like VCS.
• Experience creating designs or testbenches using Verilog or SystemVerilog.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
• Consistent high academic performance, especially in specialized subjects and project work.
