Role Overview

This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia, for a Grader Operator. The individual will be responsible for operating motor graders to smooth and shape surfaces for roadways and foundations. Duties include equipment inspection, minor maintenance, reporting mechanical faults, interpreting site plans, adjusting grader settings precisely, coordinating with operators and staff, and adhering to all safety regulations while maintaining an orderly work site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in safely operating motor graders and heavy machinery.
• Experience in road construction, earthworks, or carrying out infrastructure projects.
• Basic proficiency in inspecting, upkeep, and diagnosing equipment problems.
• Ability to interpret site plans, understand grade stakes, and follow supervisors' directions effectively.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Capable of working outdoors under varying weather and on uneven terrain.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a construction team.
• Prior experience specifically as a grader operator or comparable role; vocational training in heavy equipment operation is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work varying hours depending on project demands.
