About the Role and Company
MACA Infrastructure is looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join their team based in Mt Evelyn, responsible for maintaining the Yarra Ranges. The role entails operating machinery safely and effectively to meet production goals. MACA, part of the Thiess group, is a respected provider of integrated contracting services in mining, civil construction, infrastructure, and mineral processing. Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-start inspections to confirm machinery is safe for operation.
- Operate plant efficiently to meet shift production targets.
- Immediately inform the Supervisor about any equipment faults or defects.
- Report hazards, near misses, incidents, and accidents to the Supervisor promptly.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement and innovation efforts within MACA.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience operating Komatsu Graders and freeroll Rollers.
- A minimum of five years’ experience conducting maintenance grading on unsealed council roads.
- Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) license.
- Possess a current Traffic Control ticket.
- Locally based in or familiar with the Yarra Ranges Shire area.
- Committed to workplace safety standards.
- Holds a valid Construction White Card.
