Grade A Electrician

About the Role

We are hiring a Grade A Electrician to lead and execute electrical operations in Melbourne, VIC. This role involves hands-on electrical maintenance, minor upgrades, and project implementations across Melbourne Metro, Regional Victoria, and occasionally interstate. Our client is a growing contractor specializing in electrical and security services across various sectors such as commercial, retail, petroleum, government, defence, health, and critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, service tasks, and project-related work independently.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and manage commissioning activities efficiently.
• Plan job requirements including coordination of materials, equipment, and site logistics.
• Strictly adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and company procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, site contacts, and management teams.
• Produce detailed service reports, testing documentation, and job close-out paperwork accurately.
• Uphold superior workmanship quality on all assigned tasks.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior technicians and electricians.
