Job description
Role Overview
Join a leading global IT and business solutions firm, Tata Consultancy Services, as a Google Cloud Billing Operations Specialist based in Gandhinagar, India. This position involves managing GCP billing consultations, handling customer escalations, and providing financial cloud support.
Key Responsibilities
- Address and resolve inquiries related to Google Cloud Platform billing and associated financial operations.
- Perform root cause analysis on billing discrepancies, escalations, and metrics tied to customer experience.
- Authorize refunds and credits, and oversee complex billing transaction processes.
- Track and meet key performance indicators including Initial Response Time, Total Resolution Time, First Time Resolution, Service Delivery Rate, Customer Effort Score, and Quality benchmarks.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Finance, and Support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide expert support on billing accounts, contract pricing, Committed Use Discounts, and billing data exports.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements and objectives, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions and actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving operational processes.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in GCP billing, cloud support services, FinOps, escalation handling, or technical support roles is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with billing analytics, BigQuery, refund processing, root cause analysis, customer escalations, and cloud cost management is highly desirable.
- Possession of Google Cloud Digital Leader and Associate Cloud Engineer certifications is mandatory.
