Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and members, offering helpful suggestions and promoting additional services when appropriate.
• Maintain awareness of daily operations, including guest arrivals and scheduled functions.
• Keep car park and surrounding lodge areas neat, especially those near the Palmer Ryder Cup Course.
• Oversee upkeep and maintenance of golf range facilities to ensure excellent condition.
• Ensure cleanliness and supply of toiletries in visitor and member locker rooms.
• Assist in preparing for golf group events using function sheets, including placing directional signage and briefing the team on the day's schedule.
• Support the golf shop team by informing guests about available amenities such as locker rooms, range, snack bar, and pro shop.
• Conduct weekly golf club stocktaking and prepare reports for the Golf Operations Manager.
• Prepare buggies for clients, equipping them with items like tees, pencils, towels, and scorecards.
• Account for all buggies daily, reporting any faults or damages, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness for subsequent use.
• Clean pull trolleys and electric trolleys before storage and recharge batteries for next use.
• Maintain tidiness of corridors, steward areas, and clubhouse bins throughout the day.
• Care for and clean ladies and gentlemen’s member golf bags.
• Handle guest check-ins professionally and efficiently, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Proactively promote golf shop merchandise to guests and members, demonstrating thorough product knowledge.
• Ensure guests are aware of their surroundings and punctual for tee times.
• Collaborate with starters and rangers to facilitate smooth tee times and maintain pace of play.
• Ensure accurate charging of green fees, pro shop purchases, and other revenue through proper billing at check-out.
• Maintain full stock inventory of merchandise, including sizes, colors, styles, and brands.
• Store buggies properly, sanitize and tag them after use, keep storage areas clear especially for electric trolleys.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Golf Services is essential.
• Experience within a 5-star service environment is beneficial.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Fluent English communication, both spoken and written.
• Flexibility regarding working hours.
