Golf Operations Attendant

Position Overview

Emirates Golf Club invites applications for a proactive and customer-oriented Golf Operations Attendant to join their team. This role supports the daily functioning of golf facilities, ensuring all members, guests, and visitors enjoy a superior golfing experience. The incumbent will maintain exceptional standards across all golf operation areas while providing service that aligns with the club's hospitality excellence.

Golf Operations & Facility Management

• Maintain and prepare driving range, members' practice range, short game area, and related practice facilities to top-tier standards.
• Ensure golf carts are clean, charged, well-maintained, and ready for use daily.
• Efficiently oversee bag drop zones, bag storage, and golf cart return points.
• Assign practice bays and assist guests utilizing training and practice zones.
• Regularly monitor golf areas to uphold cleanliness, organization, and presentation requirements.
• Promptly report equipment faults, maintenance needs, or safety issues to the Golf Operations Supervisor.

Member & Guest Services

• Greet members and guests warmly with professionalism and friendliness.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of golf bags from vehicles and carts.
• Support guests in golf cart allocation and provide operational aid.
• Offer accurate information about club facilities, practice areas, and operational procedures.
• Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service fostering positive guest experiences continually.

Events & Tournament Support

• Help with organizing and managing golf tournaments, corporate golf events, member competitions, and special occasions.
• Support Golf Operations teams to guarantee the success of all club activities and events.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Comply with Golf Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Handle, maintain, and store equipment safely at all times.
• Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and grooming policies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the management or supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient spoken and written English communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and focused on excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Physically able to lift and transport golf bags.
• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible to work shifts including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Prior experience in golf operations, hospitality, leisure, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Positive attitude, strong dedication, and eagerness to learn.
