Key Responsibilities

• Create and repair jewellery pieces by designing, crafting, and assembling intricate items using gold and precious metals.
• Perform precise repairs, resizing, and alterations while maintaining superior quality standards.
• Work in partnership with designers and gemmologists to produce custom jewellery tailored to client specifications.
• Apply both classic and contemporary goldsmith techniques including soldering, forging, engraving, and casting.
• Handle gemstone setting and finishing with careful precision to ensure flawless results and durability.
• Undertake thorough inspections of all jewellery to maintain the company’s excellence standards and suggest improvements for customer satisfaction.
• Keep tools, equipment, and workspace in optimal condition, while following health and safety protocols and maintaining a tidy workshop.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of five years’ experience working professionally as a goldsmith in the luxury or fine jewellery industry.
• Advanced skills in metalworking, including soldering, engraving, and hand fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in setting stones and managing precious materials with great care.
• Knowledge of CAD software and 3D printing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high precision and finish in every piece.
• Strong creative abilities and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with designers, gemmologists, and sales teams.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Formal certification or professional training in goldsmithing or jewellery-making is highly preferred.
