Golang Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Golang Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position involves developing distributed systems and platform services using clean, scalable, and high-performance Go code running in live production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain distributed services as well as platform tooling leveraging Go.
• Design APIs and implement event-driven architectures.
• Utilize message queue systems, caching solutions, and databases efficiently.
• Produce well-structured, testable code and participate in code review processes.
• Troubleshoot and rectify operational issues across services in production.
• Contribute meaningfully to the design and architecture of the platform.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience with production-grade Golang development.
• Deep knowledge of Go’s concurrency patterns and idiomatic programming style.
• Experience managing distributed system architectures, message queuing, and caching mechanisms.
• Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL variants.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, plus experience with contemporary cloud platforms.
• Strong fundamentals in system design principles.

• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range approximately $115,000 to $180,000 USD equivalent, aligned with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
