Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join our team as a Backend Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Go programming language (preferably version 1.22 or later) and a solid background in building robust backend systems and scalable microservices.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Develop and maintain efficient, reliable backend services using Go.
  • Implement concurrency through Goroutines, Channels, and concurrency primitives such as Mutex, RWMutex, WaitGroup, and Atomic Operations.
  • Utilize the Context package, interfaces, reflection, and error-handling patterns effectively in application development.
  • Manage memory and understand garbage collection mechanisms to ensure optimal application performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and distributed systems architecture.
  • Work with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes, and deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ensure performance optimization by utilizing tuning, profiling, and debugging techniques specific to Go.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
  • Knowledge of gRPC for efficient communication between services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies to enhance development workflows.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of five years of professional software development experience with significant emphasis on Golang programming is necessary to excel in this role.
