Golang Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a proficient Lead Consultant / Golang Developer to join our team in Burgess Hill on a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days per week onsite. The ideal candidate will exhibit extensive hands-on experience in Golang development, application design, software testing, and REST API creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and test applications using Golang
• Create and maintain robust REST APIs for high-traffic applications
• Engage actively in Agile development cycles within collaborative teams
• Utilize Git for source control and contribute to shared repositories
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate applications

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong practical experience in Golang software development and application design
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra
• Knowledge of automated build and testing frameworks
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian collaboration tools
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and create innovative solutions
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with both internal team members and external partners

Additional Information

• Experience with open-source frameworks and contributions is considered a plus
