Position Overview

We seek a distinguished Global Robotics Correspondent based in Dubai to serve as a principal international face for our platform. This role demands extensive travel worldwide to conduct interviews with CEOs, founders, and executives of leading robotics firms, presenting their stories, innovations, and strategies to our worldwide audience. This role is dynamic and field-focused: you will operate beyond the desk, visiting diverse locations such as robotics factories in the US, research teams in South Korea, or industry events in Europe, often moving week to week.

Key Responsibilities

• Represents Robot24.com globally through frequent international travel.
• Conducts high-profile, on-camera interviews with executive leadership within top robotics companies.
• Visits diverse robotics environments including manufacturers, labs, and real-world robotic deployments.
• Covers prominent global robotics events and exhibitions.
• Performs comprehensive research on interview subjects, their products, technology, competitors, and underlying narratives prior to filming.
• Develops insightful, original, and occasionally challenging questions during interviews.
• Adapts in real time with spontaneous follow-up questions based on conversations.
• Translates complex technological concepts into clear explanations for an international audience.
• Unearths compelling stories beyond superficial company messaging.
• Collaborates closely with editorial teams to craft intriguing story angles and interview approaches.
• Maintains a polished, confident, and professional on-camera presence.
• Nurtures enduring relationships with influential figures in the global robotics sector.

Candidate Profile

• At least five years of professional journalism experience with a background in broadcast reporting, interviewing, or international correspondence.
• Exemplary fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a sophisticated vocabulary.
• Natural, confident, and articulate interviewing style.
• Strong on-camera presentation skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to engage senior executives and guide meaningful conversations.
• Excellent journalistic instincts and independent editorial judgment.
• Proven aptitude for active listening and formulating intelligent follow-up questions.
• Meticulous research and preparation capabilities.
• Intellectual curiosity about technology, business, and robotics coupled with rapid comprehension of complex technical topics.
• Flexibility and readiness for frequent, sometimes last-minute international travel.
• Based in Dubai with willingness to operate globally.
