About the Role

Join Sirva as a Global Assignment Consultant (GAC) to play a critical role in supporting corporate clients and their personnel who relocate internationally. You will act as the principal coordinator for assignees, ensuring timely and seamless delivery of various relocation and assignment management services according to employer policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive assignment services comprising policy guidance, destination assistance, household goods transportation, immigration support, departure formalities, and expense oversight.
  • Analyze and apply clients' international assignment policies to advise assignees, considering individual needs and the requirements of specific countries.
  • Offer continuous consultation to assignees throughout their international assignment duration.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee a smooth and successful relocation experience.
  • Oversee communication with Global Certified Providers to uphold service quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients' HR representatives to address any relocation or assignment issues affecting the employee and their family.
  • Handle exceptions to policies by providing recommendations and managing exceptions appropriately.
  • Maintain transparent updates on assignee statuses, proactively resolving issues and completing client-requested projects.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to support managers, clients, and assignees effectively.

Candidate Profile

  • At least two years of direct experience in relocation or three years in related customer service fields.
  • Familiarity with international assignment management and global corporate practices.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently initiate tasks while working well in a team.
  • Capability to manage competing deadlines, multitask efficiently, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Preference for candidates with prior overseas living or working experience.
  • Educational requirements: High school diploma mandatory; college degree is preferable.
