GIS Data Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced 3D Laser Scanning / LiDAR Specialist skilled in point cloud data processing and analysis. The role involves working extensively with 3D laser scanning, LiDAR data registration, georeferencing, and quality assurance to support surveying and geomatics projects. Familiarity with coordinate systems, photogrammetry, and 360 imagery is highly desirable. Expertise in tools such as Leica Cyclone, Trimble RealWorks, Cintoo, or NavVis will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze point cloud datasets, including registration and georeferencing tasks.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control on point cloud data.
• Support geomatics and surveying workflows using 3D laser scanning technologies.
• Utilize photogrammetry and 360 imagery to enhance digital twin projects.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain accurate coordinate systems and data integrity.

Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with 3D laser scanning and LiDAR data processing.
• Proficient in point cloud processing, registration, and QA/QC.
• Knowledge of geomatics principles, surveying, and coordinate systems.
• Experience with photogrammetry and handling 360-degree imagery.
• Familiar with software tools like Leica Cyclone, Trimble RealWorks, Cintoo, or NavVis is preferred.
• Must hold at least a graduate-level degree.
