German Speaking Fintech Product Manager - Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager specializing in Growth & Innovation to drive the advancement and expansion of our flagship account-switching solutions across European markets. This full-time remote position demands strategic product ownership and entrepreneurial spirit.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our main account-switching products, overseeing both incremental enhancements and new innovations.
• Identify and validate growth opportunities and new application scenarios within diverse European markets, managing initiatives from ideation through to market launch.
• Prioritize backlog items using quantitative data, transaction analytics, and verified user requirements to boost business growth.
• Partner closely with senior leadership to align product goals, enhance revenue targets, and maintain efficient decision-making processes.
• Translate complex client and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable development epics and user stories.
• Define and monitor KPIs for product features and releases, fostering continuous improvement based on performance metrics.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in product management, ownership, or growth roles in FinTech, commercial banking, or SaaS/API environments.
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial mindset supported by data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in German and English at C1 level or higher, both spoken and written, to effectively engage stakeholders across DACH and international regions.
• Experience with agile tools such as Jira and data analysis platforms like Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex technical concepts to diverse teams and executives.
• Willingness to undertake approximately four annual travels for team gatherings and client meetings in Kassel, Germany.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven record in launching or scaling API-based or SaaS banking products across European borders.
• Additional European language fluency beyond German and English.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual gross salary ranging from €60,000 to €75,000, based on experience and skills.
