About the Role
This position is with a service provider specializing in comprehensive power protection solutions, currently expanding its presence in Singapore. The role involves direct involvement in servicing and maintaining genset equipment, emphasizing quality customer service and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent high-quality service standards to customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate on-site tasks involving customers, vendors, and subcontractors efficiently.
- Lead toolbox meetings and safety briefings with the team before starting work.
- Provide performance feedback on Assistant Engineers, Technicians, and General Workers to management.
- Offer both technical and logistical assistance at assigned sites.
- Prepare and send vibration analysis reports to customers and site servers.
- Advise customers with technical support both onsite and remotely.
- Troubleshoot technical and logistical issues across the entire product range handled by the company.
- Generate detailed reports including findings and recommendations for customers.
- Develop Method of Statements and Risk Assessments for allocated jobs and sites.
- Participate in both scheduled routine maintenance and unscheduled (ad-hoc) work.
- Provide round-the-clock customer support via telephone and on-site visits.
- Monitor maintenance activities such as battery and coolant levels regularly.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Holds a Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in servicing, including detailed component-level troubleshooting.
- Preferably experienced with Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) or Standby Generators.
- Capable of working independently, showing resourcefulness and initiative, with strong customer-centric approach.
- Exhibits effective interpersonal and communication skills focused on excellent customer service.
- Willingness to work overtime and be available for travel on short notice.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license is advantageous.
- Familiarity with general computer use, including hardware and software applications, is a plus.
Additional Information
The working schedule for this role is based on a 5.5-day workweek.
