Job Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, professional, welcoming, and courteous service to all guests and colleagues.
- Perform routine and minor maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related repairs.
- Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Assess work orders to prioritize and plan maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Schedule and oversee repair, maintenance, and installation activities on machines, tools, and equipment to maintain seamless operations and ensure satisfaction.
- Execute preventative maintenance programs according to scheduled plans.
- Maintain and service pools and spas regularly.
- Adhere strictly to department policies, procedures, safety protocols, and service standards.
- Manage check-in and check-out of master cards, keys, mobile devices, vacuum machines, ladders, and other equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PPM) in guest rooms and daily inspection rounds, addressing maintenance requests from guests, apartments, and management promptly.
- Take and record plant room meter readings in a timely manner.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during maintenance tasks.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations such as fire alarms, flooding, and gas alerts.
- Report hazards and misuse or abuse of equipment and energy resources.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in plant rooms and equipment areas.
- Perform regular maintenance on sump pumps, chillers, booster heaters and pumps, pressure relief valves (PRV), ice machine filters, generators, and conduct monthly meter readings.
- Monitor energy consumption and contribute to energy conservation efforts.
- Ensure all pending works are followed up daily without fail.
- Complete all tasks within the Side Kick preventive maintenance program according to the established schedule.
Qualifications and Skills
- Dependable and highly responsible individual with enthusiasm for the role.
- Previous experience in painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and related maintenance is advantageous.
- Experience with pool and spa maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Good listening skills, initiative, and decisiveness in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of constant standing and walking throughout work shifts.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of a second language is beneficial.
- Strong customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, and clear communication capabilities.
