Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified General Practitioner to deliver medical consultations, conduct clinical examinations, and provide ongoing care, while aiding the clinic's preventive health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough medical consultations, physical exams, and patient evaluations.
• Analyze patient medical histories, lab results, medications, allergies, and relevant health risks.
• Diagnose and manage frequent acute and chronic conditions within authorized practice limits.
• Request and interpret lab tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Create personalized treatment, prevention, and follow-up strategies.
• Evaluate patient eligibility for IV therapies and other treatments when suitable.
• Communicate clearly proposed treatments, benefits, risks, alternatives, and limitations to patients.
• Secure and document informed consent properly.
• Prescribe medications and therapies adhering to regulations, clinical guidelines, and authorized practice scope.
• Track treatment success and coordinate follow-up care.
• Refer patients to specialists, hospitals, or emergency services as necessary.
• Keep comprehensive, precise patient records in the clinic’s electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate effectively with the Medical Director, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers.
• Engage in clinical governance, infection control, emergency readiness, and quality improvement activities.
• Uphold strict patient confidentiality and maintain high standards of professional ethics.
• Continuously update professional knowledge, licensing, and mandatory clinical training.

Requirements

• Holds MBBS, MBChB, MD, or an equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed approved medical internship.
• Minimum of two years clinical practice post-internship.
• Possesses a valid or eligible DHA professional licence/registration for General Practitioner.
• Experience in general practice, family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care is essential.
• Prior clinical experience in Dubai or UAE is advantageous.
• Interest or experience in preventive medicine, wellness, IV therapy, and personalized care desirable.
• Current Basic Life Support certification preferred and must be maintained before starting clinical work.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is a plus.
• Strong skills in clinical judgment, documentation, and patient communication.
• Proficient in using EMR systems and other clinical software.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Arabic or other languages beneficial.
• Committed to ethical, evidence-based patient care.
