About Aivita Wellness Clinic
Aivita Wellness Clinic, situated in DIFC Dubai, specializes in preventive health and wellness, offering a blend of medical evaluation, tailored health management, and evidence-backed wellness services in a secure and patient-centered environment.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and qualified General Practitioner to deliver medical consultations, conduct clinical examinations, and provide ongoing care, while aiding the clinic's preventive health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough medical consultations, physical exams, and patient evaluations.
- Analyze patient medical histories, lab results, medications, allergies, and relevant health risks.
- Diagnose and manage frequent acute and chronic conditions within authorized practice limits.
- Request and interpret lab tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Create personalized treatment, prevention, and follow-up strategies.
- Evaluate patient eligibility for IV therapies and other treatments when suitable.
- Communicate clearly proposed treatments, benefits, risks, alternatives, and limitations to patients.
- Secure and document informed consent properly.
- Prescribe medications and therapies adhering to regulations, clinical guidelines, and authorized practice scope.
- Track treatment success and coordinate follow-up care.
- Refer patients to specialists, hospitals, or emergency services as necessary.
- Keep comprehensive, precise patient records in the clinic’s electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate effectively with the Medical Director, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers.
- Engage in clinical governance, infection control, emergency readiness, and quality improvement activities.
- Uphold strict patient confidentiality and maintain high standards of professional ethics.
- Continuously update professional knowledge, licensing, and mandatory clinical training.
Requirements
- Holds MBBS, MBChB, MD, or an equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completed approved medical internship.
- Minimum of two years clinical practice post-internship.
- Possesses a valid or eligible DHA professional licence/registration for General Practitioner.
- Experience in general practice, family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care is essential.
- Prior clinical experience in Dubai or UAE is advantageous.
- Interest or experience in preventive medicine, wellness, IV therapy, and personalized care desirable.
- Current Basic Life Support certification preferred and must be maintained before starting clinical work.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is a plus.
- Strong skills in clinical judgment, documentation, and patient communication.
- Proficient in using EMR systems and other clinical software.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Arabic or other languages beneficial.
- Committed to ethical, evidence-based patient care.
