General Practitioner (GP) / Practice Doctor

Overview

We invite expressions of interest from both Australian Trained Doctors and International Medical Graduates for a permanent General Practitioner position at our medical centre in Bell Park, Victoria. This role is open to vocationally registered general practitioners and offers part-time shifts with flexible, negotiable hours and immediate start options.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $180,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience.

Qualifications

• General or Specialist Registration with AHPRA is mandatory.
• Both Vocationally Registered (VR) and Non-VR doctors are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a general practice environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, comprehensive, and evidence-based medical care.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic health conditions.
• Create and implement individualized patient care plans focused on improving health outcomes.
• Collaborate with nurses, allied health practitioners, and administrative team members.
• Ensure continuity of care through thorough documentation and follow-up processes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of medical practice.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical governance protocols.
• Comply with AHPRA regulations and standards.
