Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in Ras al-Khaimah seeks a General Practitioner Dentist skilled in conducting routine dental examinations, diagnosing oral conditions, and executing a wide array of general dental treatments. These include restorative procedures, extractions, preventive care, and basic endodontic treatments. Daily duties involve formulating and communicating treatment plans, maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation, and complying with infection control and safety protocols. The GP Dentist will work collaboratively with dental assistants and the wider dental team, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and actively engage in case reviews and clinical discussions as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proficiency in general dentistry encompassing diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative work, preventive strategies, and basic endodontics.
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate treatment options, deliver oral health education, and establish patient trust across diverse populations.
- Strong dedication to maintaining infection control, clinical safety, and ethical standards in compliance with local regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary dental team to nurture a respectful, inclusive workplace environment.
- Possession of an accredited dental degree such as DDS or BDS and eligibility for dental licensure or registration within the UAE.
- Previous experience working as a GP Dentist or in comparable clinical roles; experience in family or community dental settings is preferred.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development to keep current with innovations in dental techniques, materials, and technology.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is advantageous.
