Position Summary
This role offers a flexible, on-site opportunity for a General Practitioner at the Burwood clinic. The GP will deliver holistic primary care services including preventive health evaluations, chronic condition management, and acute care aligned with lifestyle medicine principles. Responsibilities also include reviewing clinical assessments, maintaining detailed medical documentation, engaging in case conferences, and supporting continuous practice improvements. The GP will also educate patients, participate in practice initiatives, and provide guidance or supervision to clinical staff where suitable.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient clinical expertise in Primary Care with experience managing patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Fellowship in General Practice with dedication to evidence-based, preventive, and lifestyle-oriented healthcare.
- Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with nurses and allied health team members in a multidisciplinary setup.
- Valid Australian medical registration (e.g., AHPRA) and relevant vocational recognition or fellowship.
- Excellent communication and cultural competence, practicing trauma-informed, patient-centered care.
- Comfortable utilizing clinical software, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and following safety and governance protocols.
- A passion for continual professional development and lifelong learning.
