Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service by greeting shoppers, helping with product selections, promoting merchandise and services, guiding customers to find items, aiding purchase choices, and addressing or redirecting customer issues as needed.
• Provide coverage across assigned sales floor areas, including support at the Front End when necessary, ensuring smooth communications among associates to maintain floor presence and effectively meet customer needs.
• Maintain clean and organized sales floor zones, relocate featured merchandise appropriately, and manage recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other store sections.
• Stock products, carry out downstocking as required, apply product safeguards, and set up modular displays including flexible modulars and new shelf caps.
• Uphold workplace safety, cleanliness, and hazard-free conditions by following company procedures, completing safety checks, and securing displays and equipment.
• Demonstrate schedule flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business demands.

Challenges You May Encounter

• Manage high workload volumes in a fast-paced environment efficiently, particularly during overnight shifts, maintaining energy and focus throughout work hours.
• Perform physical duties such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting inventory or supplies up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, along with repetitive stocking and zoning tasks while maintaining attention to detail and store standards.

Additional Details

The starting wage for this position is $16.15 per hour.

Location: 184 PTH 12 N, Steinbach, Manitoba, R5G 0Y1, Canada.
