Key Responsibilities

The General Manager is charged with managing a profitable restaurant while consistently meeting McDonald’s high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Partnering with leadership, the General Manager will establish restaurant objectives and develop strategic plans to meet these goals.

This role involves leading a team of Assistant and Shift Managers by supporting their goal setting, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to enhance departmental performance, ultimately improving restaurant operations.

Additional duties include hiring and nurturing managerial staff to ensure the team is well-equipped for future leadership needs.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Applicants should preferably have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume food service locations. Backgrounds in quick service restaurants are highly desirable; hospitality or retail experience is also relevant. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to manage in corporate-owned McDonald’s locations.
