This opening is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. Importantly, employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. Role Overview
The General Manager will be accountable for running a profitable restaurant while maintaining McDonald’s high standards for quality, customer service, and cleanliness. Achieving these goals requires leadership, planning, and working collaboratively with a team.
The General Manager guides Department Managers by setting goals, monitoring progress, and coaching to enhance departmental performance which collectively improves restaurant operations. Additionally, responsibilities include hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager, preferably managing high-volume establishments
- Background in quick service restaurants is preferred; experience in hospitality or retail is also valuable
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years (for management in corporate-owned outlets)
