Overview
This opportunity is for a General Manager role at a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee is a separate employer responsible for all employment decisions, including hiring and supervision. McDonald’s USA does not influence or have access to employment applications or decisions.
Role Description
The General Manager position is pivotal in overseeing the profitable operation of the restaurant while ensuring McDonald's top standards for quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met. This is a significant leadership role requiring collaboration with your leader to establish and implement restaurant goals.
Leading a team of Department Managers, you will assist them in setting department-specific targets, monitoring their progress, coaching, and providing direction to enhance overall departmental and restaurant performance. Additionally, the role may involve recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to maintain an effective leadership team.
Ideal candidates have prior experience managing high-volume quick-service restaurants or comparable experience in hospitality or retail. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for the managerial role.
