Overview
This opening is for a General Manager role in a restaurant owned and run by an independent McDonalds franchisee, separate from McDonalds USA. Employment decisions, including hiring, firing, and scheduling, are solely handled by the franchisee and not McDonalds USA.
About the Role
The General Manager leads the restaurant to achieve profitability while upholding McDonalds high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. You will collaborate with leadership to set goals and execute plans, ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations to maintain exceptional food quality, customer service, and sanitation standards.
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers, empowering them to set and meet their departmental objectives.
- Provide continuous coaching and guidance to Department Managers to improve overall restaurant performance.
- Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has prior General Manager experience at high-volume quick service restaurants or relevant hospitality/retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
