Role Overview

The General Manager leads the restaurant to sustained profitability while ensuring it meets McDonald’s high customer service standards. Working closely with a supervising leader, the General Manager sets and pursues restaurant objectives through strategic planning.

Leadership and Team Management

The role requires guiding a team of Department Managers by helping them establish goals, tracking their progress, and delivering continuous coaching and support. In addition, the General Manager often handles recruiting and training Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has prior experience as a General Manager in busy, high-volume quick service restaurants or similar sectors like hospitality or retail. Managers must be at least 18 years old for corporate-owned locations.
