The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's branding and products but oversees all employment-related matters autonomously, including hiring, discipline, and scheduling.

The General Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the profitability and smooth operation of the restaurant by upholding McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. In collaboration with leadership, the General Manager sets restaurant goals and develops actionable plans to meet them.
The role involves managing a team of Department Managers by assisting them in goal-setting, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to improve departmental performance, thereby enhancing overall restaurant success. The General Manager is also tasked with hiring and developing both Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Requirements
- Proven prior experience as a General Manager managing high-volume locations.
- Preferred background in quick service restaurants; experience in hospitality or retail is also valued.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a managerial role in corporate restaurants.

The position offers competitive compensation starting at $55,000 annually plus bonuses. It's important to note this job is for an independent franchisee-operated restaurant, not McDonald's USA corporate.
