Position Overview
This opportunity is with a restaurant franchised independently and not directly operated by McDonald's USA. The franchisee, a separate legal entity, holds rights to McDonald's branding and products but independently manages all employment decisions including hiring, scheduling, and discipline.
About the Role
The General Manager leads restaurant operations, ensuring profitability and consistent adherence to McDonald's stringent standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. This role involves strategic goal setting in collaboration with leadership and formulating action plans to meet targets.
Leadership responsibilities include guiding a team of Department Managers by assisting them in goal-setting, monitoring progress, coaching for improvement, and driving their departments toward excellence, thereby enhancing overall restaurant performance. The General Manager may also participate in recruiting and developing managerial staff to support long-term organizational success.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants should possess prior experience managing high-volume restaurants, preferably within the quick service, hospitality, or retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, meeting managerial age requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary between $45,000 and $60,000
- Eligibility for a monthly bonus program offering up to $1,500 per month ($18,000 annually)
