Overview
The General Manager plays a crucial role in managing the entire restaurant operations, ensuring an excellent experience for guests and crew alike. This position involves overseeing food preparation, customer service, staff management, and operational efficiency to meet McDonald’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all restaurant functions including food production, guest services, and directing crew and managerial activities.
- Manage all People processes proactively such as recruitment, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards.
- Make strategic decisions regarding inventory control, budgeting, and ordering to optimize food costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations according to McDonald’s guidelines.
- Maintain exemplary guest and employee safety standards throughout the establishment.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to meet and surpass operational quality requirements.
