About the Role
This role is for a General Manager position within a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use the McDonald’s brand and products. Note that the franchisee is distinct from McDonald’s USA and handles all employment matters exclusively for this restaurant.
As General Manager, you will oversee the profitability and daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring that McDonald’s high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met. You'll collaborate with leadership to set objectives and implement plans to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead a team of Department Managers, supporting them in establishing their objectives, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to enhance departmental performance, which directly benefits the overall restaurant.
Additionally, you may be involved in recruiting and mentoring Department and Shift Managers, building a capable leadership team for sustained future success.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should bring prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume quick service restaurants or related sectors such as hospitality or retail. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for eligibility in corporate-owned restaurants.
