About the Role
This General Manager opportunity is with an independently owned and operated restaurant franchise licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. Please note that this franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald's USA and is solely responsible for all employment matters including hiring, supervision, and discipline.
The General Manager will lead the restaurant to achieve profitability while maintaining McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves collaborating with leadership to establish restaurant goals and developing strategies to meet them.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring adherence to McDonald's critical customer standards.
- Lead and support a team of Department Managers by setting goals, monitoring progress, providing coaching, and fostering continuous improvement.
- Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for future growth.
- Work closely with owners and senior management to meet financial and operational objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing high-volume locations as a General Manager.
- Background in quick service restaurants preferred; experience in hospitality or retail is also valuable.
- Must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for management positions within corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants.
