Role Overview

As a General Manager, you will lead from the front, fostering a positive culture and managing the day-to-day operations of a rapidly growing restaurant. This includes overseeing hiring, team development, scheduling, and financial performance to ensure the restaurant delivers a superior guest experience consistent with Chipotle’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent hospitality, ensuring top-tier guest service standards.
• Maintain service speed, order accuracy, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and training using Chipotle’s tools.
• Lead and develop crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices to promote growth and operational excellence.
• Supervise on-time and precise delivery of digital orders.
• Handle daily operational business functions such as scheduling, profit and loss management, sales forecasting, and interviewing.
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the dining area and overall restaurant for guests.
• Uphold food safety, compliance, and operational standards rigorously.
• Maintain accountability for the restaurant's financial goals, including sales and cash flow targets.
• Work varied shifts including lunch, dinner, and weekends to provide consistent leadership across all operating hours.

Qualifications and Experience

• Passion for hospitality and an enthusiastic, guest-first mindset.
• Previous experience managing a restaurant is essential, with skills in scheduling, budgeting, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruitment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in developing team members.
• Creative approach to marketing and community engagement initiatives such as fundraisers.

Additional Information

The role entails working in a fast-paced kitchen environment requiringstanding and moving around for up to 10 hours daily, lifting up to 50lbs (25kgs), and exposure to varying temperatures. Effective communication with customers and team members is crucial.
