Job description
Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee the restaurant's profitability while ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Collaborating with leadership, the manager will define clear goals and formulate strategies to accomplish them.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves leading a team of Department Managers, each responsible for specific functions within the restaurant. This includes assisting with goal-setting, monitoring progress, providing coaching, and enhancing departmental performance to drive overall restaurant success. Additionally, responsibilities may include recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least two years of prior experience as a General Manager or Store Manager, preferably managing high-volume quick service restaurant locations. Experience in hospitality or retail is also valuable. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and successfully pass a background check, as required for management roles in this franchise.
