Overview
This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to operate the restaurant using McDonald's branding and products but independently manages all employment-related matters. McDonald's USA has no influence on hiring, firing, staffing, or employee management at this restaurant. If hired, your employer will be the franchisee.
Role Summary
The General Manager is tasked with overseeing a profitable restaurant operation while ensuring high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness consistent with McDonald's strict criteria. This leadership role involves setting restaurant goals in collaboration with senior management and driving a strategy to meet them.
The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance oversight to optimize departmental results. Additionally, responsibilities include recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess prior General Manager experience in managing high-volume restaurant locations, with a preference for quick service restaurant, hospitality, or retail backgrounds. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for management roles in corporate-owned locations.
