Overview
This position is with a restaurant independently owned and operated by Opstad Consolidated Enterprises, Inc., a franchisee authorized to use McDonald's branding and products but distinct and separate from McDonald's USA. Employment decisions and management are solely the responsibility of the franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
Role Purpose
The General Manager is tasked with leading the restaurant to profitability while upholding high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness as set by McDonald's. This leadership role involves goal-setting, business planning, and team management to drive restaurant success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Department Managers by setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching.
- Ensure each department meets operational and customer service standards to collectively improve overall restaurant performance.
- Oversee hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to maintain a skilled leadership team.
- Collaborate with superiors in setting restaurant objectives and implementing strategies to meet targets.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a General Manager, particularly in quick service restaurants or McDonald's management.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive starting weekly wage between $1,124.20 and $1,200, negotiable based on experience.
- Annual salary range approximately $58,000 to $65,000.
- Annual paid vacation totaling 15 days.
