Job Overview

The General Manager's primary duty is to operate a profitable restaurant while upholding McDonald's rigorous standards in quality, service, and cleanliness. This position involves collaborating with leadership to establish restaurant goals and devise strategic plans to meet them.

Leadership Responsibilities

This role entails managing a group of Department Managers, assisting them in setting objectives, monitoring their progress, and providing coaching to enhance departmental performance which consequently benefits overall restaurant operations.

The General Manager may also be in charge of recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to assemble a capable leadership team for the future.

Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants should possess prior experience as a General Manager within busy quick service restaurants or similar backgrounds in hospitality or retail. Legally, candidates must be at least 18 years old to hold a managerial role in corporate owned McDonald's locations.
