About the Role
This opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use the McDonald's brand and products. The franchisee acts as the employer and manages all employment aspects such as hiring, scheduling, discipline, and supervision, independently of McDonald's USA.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for steering the restaurant toward profitability while maintaining McDonald's high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. This leadership role involves setting goals collaboratively with your supervisor and developing plans to meet these targets.
Team Leadership
You will oversee a team of Department Managers, helping them set objectives, monitoring their progress, and providing coaching to enhance their performance. This team leadership is critical to improving each department and, consequently, the overall success of the restaurant.
You may also be tasked with recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will possess prior experience as a General Manager, especially in managing high-volume locations. Backgrounds in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail are highly preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to hold the management position at corporate-owned restaurants.
