This role is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise in Smyrna, GA, and not directly with McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's branding and products but operates as a separate employer. All employment matters, including hiring, supervision, and discipline, belong solely to the franchisee.
Job Overview
The General Manager is pivotal in overseeing a profitable restaurant while maintaining McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership position entails collaborating with your own manager to establish goals and devise actionable plans to meet them.
Leadership and Team Development
You will supervise a team of Assistant Managers, helping them set goals, monitor their progress, and provide guidance to enhance departmental performance for overall restaurant success. The role also involves recruiting and mentoring Assistant and Shift Managers to secure a strong leadership pipeline.
Expectations and Availability
The General Manager role requires being full-time with flexible, open availability around the clock (24/7).
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have prior experience as a General Manager within the quick service restaurant industry and must be at least 18 years old.
