Job description
Position Overview
The General Manager oversees the profitable functioning of a McDonald's restaurant while ensuring strict adherence to McDonald's high standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role requires managing a team and developing strategies to meet established restaurant objectives.
Core Duties
- Lead and support Department Managers by helping them set departmental goals and providing ongoing guidance and coaching.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of each department to foster continuous improvement across the restaurant.
- Recruit, hire, and develop skilled Department and Shift Managers to build a competent leadership team.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have prior experience as a General Manager at busy locations, preferably within quick service restaurants or have backgrounds in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to hold this managerial position at company-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of $55,000 annually
- Between 15 and 25 days of paid vacation
