Job Overview
This opportunity is for a managerial position within a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, licensed to use McDonald's branding but legally distinct from McDonald’s USA. Employment matters such as hiring, discipline, supervision, and scheduling are handled exclusively by the franchisee, not McDonald’s corporate office.
About the Role
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the profitability and daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring it consistently meets McDonald's high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Working closely with leadership, the General Manager sets and executes strategies aligned with these goals.
This role includes managing a team of Department Managers by helping them establish goals, monitoring their progress, and providing mentorship to enhance departmental and overall restaurant performance. The General Manager is also tasked with recruiting and developing managerial talent such as Department and Shift Managers to prepare the team for future success.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate possesses prior experience as a General Manager, ideally within high-volume quick service restaurant environments. Experience in hospitality or retail is also valuable. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for managerial responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000.
