Shift Manager

About the Role

This position is for a shift manager at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee is the sole employer responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, schedule, and discipline. McDonald's USA does not control these decisions or receive your application.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly customer service
• Provide leadership and guidance to crew and fellow managers during shifts
• Plan shifts, monitor performance, and take corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, security, and cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory and scheduling
• Train and develop team members
• Communicate effectively with the next shift manager to maintain continuity
• Achieve departmental goals and shift targets

Candidate Requirements

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility and enthusiasm to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager in corporate restaurants
