General Manager

About the Role

This position is with a restaurant that is licensed as a McDonald's franchise, independently owned and operated by a franchisee separate from McDonald's USA. Employment decisions, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee; McDonald's USA does not have a role in these processes.

The General Manager position requires overseeing the daily operations of a high-volume restaurant while ensuring the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness are met consistently. This role demands leadership in collaborating with Department Managers, guiding them to set departmental goals and monitoring progress through coaching and direction to enhance overall restaurant performance.

Primary Duties

• Drive profitability and operational success of the restaurant.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald's critical standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Lead and support Department Managers to establish objectives and improve departmental functions.
• Hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.
• Coordinate with leadership to set restaurant goals and implement plans to achieve them.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring prior general manager experience, particularly with high-volume quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify as a manager.
