This position is for a restaurant managed by an independent franchisee authorized to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee operates as a separate entity and is the employer responsible for all employment decisions such as hiring, discipline, and scheduling. Job Overview
The General Manager is pivotal in operating a profitable restaurant that consistently meets McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Collaborating with leadership, you will define and implement strategic goals to elevate the restaurant's performance.
Leadership and Team Management
Leading a team of Department Managers, you will set objectives for each department, monitor their progress, and provide coaching to enhance operations. Hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline is also a crucial aspect of the role.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have prior experience as a General Manager overseeing high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to manage owned and operated franchises.
