General Manager

Overview

This opportunity is with a restaurant licensed to use McDonald's branding, owned and operated independently by a franchisee, not McDonald's USA. Employment matters such as hiring, staffing, supervision, and discipline are handled solely by the franchisee, which will be your employer.

Role Summary

The General Manager is tasked with overseeing profitable restaurant operations while ensuring McDonald's standards for quality, service, and cleanliness are met consistently. They collaborate with leadership to establish and pursue goals that drive the restaurant's success.

Responsibilities

• Lead Department Managers by setting goals and providing coaching to optimize their performance.
• Manage hiring and development of management staff to maintain an effective leadership team.
• Maintain and uphold McDonald's high standards of customer experience across all operational areas.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a General Manager running high-volume quick service restaurants or comparable roles in hospitality or retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management positions.
