About the Role
The General Manager is entrusted with operating a profitable fast food restaurant while ensuring the highest standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness reflective of McDonald's reputation. This pivotal leadership position involves working alongside senior leadership to establish goals and develop strategies that achieve these targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Department Managers by setting departmental objectives and tracking progress.
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve all operational areas within the restaurant.
- Recruit and nurture Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Ensure overall operational success, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a General Manager overseeing high-volume quick service restaurant locations is strongly preferred.
- Background in hospitality or retail sectors is an advantage.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a managerial role in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
