This role is within a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee is licensed to use McDonald's branding and products but operates as a distinct employer responsible for all employment-related decisions including hiring, staffing, and discipline.
Position Summary
The General Manager position involves leading a high-volume quick service restaurant while ensuring adherence to McDonald’s critical standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. This role requires collaborating with leadership to set and achieve business goals, managing assistant and shift managers, and fostering departmental improvements to enhance overall restaurant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to maintain profitability and meet set targets.
- Lead and support management teams by setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching.
- Hire and develop departmental and shift managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by upholding quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates should have prior experience as a General Manager in a high-volume location, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail industries. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in corporate-operated locations.
