About the Role
The General Manager is charged with overseeing a profitable restaurant operation while ensuring adherence to McDonald's critical quality, service, and cleanliness standards. These standards are rigorous, emphasizing the important nature of this position. This leadership role includes collaborating with direct reports to establish restaurant objectives and develop actionable plans to meet these targets.
Key Responsibilities
Leading a team of Department Managers, the General Manager supports them in goal setting, monitors progress, and provides guidance to enhance departmental performance, which in turn improves overall restaurant success. Additionally, the role involves recruiting and fostering development of Department and Shift Managers to maintain a capable leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants bring experience as a General Manager, ideally within high-volume quick service restaurants. Backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also valued. Candidates must be aged 18 or above to manage at company-owned restaurants.
